The 2nd edition of SA20 will start from January 10, 2024 and the final match of this event will be played on 10 February, 2024.

Six teams in total, MI Cape Town, Pretoria Capitals, Joburg Super Kings, Durban’s Super Giants, Paarl Royals and Sunrisers Eastern Cape that are owned by the cricket franchises of Indian premier league will participate in this event. These teams will compete with each other twice in the group stage. Each team plays 5 matches of its group stage on home ground while remaining 5 matches on away venues.

A Total of 316 players from 14 countries are revealed to hammer in this auction ceremony of SA20 2024. Each team was permitted to sign a few pre auction picks. The different teams have pre signed 23 players.

Every team with a budget of 2 million USD picked up 10 South African and 7 foreign players.
