Cricket Economy Rate Calculator 2023
The average amount of runs given up each over of bowling is known as the economy rate.
The bowler can dismiss more batsmen with fewer balls if their economy rate is lower, which is preferred. In shorter games compared to longer test matches, the statistic is thought to be more significant.

How to Use Economy Rate Calculator?
- Step 1: Enter the Total Runs Conceded
- Step 2: Enter Total Overs Bowled
- Economy rate can be calculated for a match or a tournament.
Formula
Economy Rate = (Total Runs Conceded ÷ Total Overs Bowled)
Example:
If a bowler bowled 30 overs and allowed 230 runs in that time, then:
Economy Rate = 230 Ă· 30
Economy Rate = 7.7
Therefore, the bowler’s economy rate is 7.7
